Here are the details to my very first OSM Concert!
A lovely article from Janet Harron talking about two recent Memorial grads Sean Rice and myself winning orchestral positions here. Boris Brott writes in his blog here.
Hello! It’s Andrew.
Recently I won a job with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal. As a result I am moving to Montreal in August, starting a new chapter of my life and career. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work and perform with this fantastic ensemble. That being said I will miss Toronto very much and hope to continue to be involved in Toronto’s music and percussion scene in some way for years to come.
On February 24th 2011 at 7:00pm, Andrew will be the feature performer in a prelude concert in the lobby of Koerner Hall at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, ON. He will be performing After The Crash by Andrew Staniland, who will be in attendence. Both Andrews will have opportunity to chat with the audience after the performance.
This prelude concert is part of a Soundstreams presentation of Les Percussion de Strasbourg, who will be premiering one of Mr. Staniland’s latest musical offerings later in the evening.
